Recommended by an animation designer who creates mobile games:
three carefully selected peripherals.
All three are so useful that I would immediately replace them if they broke.

Recommended Peripherals for Video Creators
The peripherals that currently improve my creative workflow the most are the MX Master 3 and KX800 mouse and keyboard.
If you use both Mac and Windows, moving the pointer to the edge of the screen lets the mouse and keyboard switch easily between the two computers.
In addition, you can copy on a Mac and paste on Windows, making this extremely convenient for anyone who uses both platforms.
Mouse: A Rare Model with a Side Scroll Wheel

The side scroll wheel is also useful: in the After Effects timeline, you can scroll horizontally with your thumb, or assign a shortcut that moves the timeline one frame at a time.

Button assignments can be customized for each application
There are plenty of actions you can assign to the buttons!
After charging, it can run for up to 70 days, and despite being my main mouse, it has never run out of power. I usually recharge it before the battery gets that low.
The drawback: it is heavy
Keyboard: Easy Switching Between Mac and Windows

The keyboard supports both Mac and Windows key layouts, with Ctrl, Alt, Command, and other keys arranged in a practical shared layout.

I assigned the lock key at the top right as a sleep shortcut
I configured Windows to use the same key behavior as my Mac, including Kana and Eisu input switching.

The three buttons above Home instantly switch between registered devices.
I use it with Windows, Mac, and iPad, and the switching is so convenient that it makes daily work effortless.
A full charge provides up to 10 days of use
The disadvantage is its weight・・・
The weight keeps it stable, but because I frequently move between Mac and Windows, I also move the keyboard often. That is my only minor complaint.
Incidentally, KX1000s keyboard adds a dial at the upper left and offers creators many possible uses. However, I never made effective use of my pen-tablet controller, so I decided I did not need the dial and bought the KX800.
I recommend these devices to creators and anyone who regularly switches between Windows and Mac.
They should be especially helpful for After Effects and Premiere users.
Monitor: A Spacious Ultrawide Workspace

An ultrawide monitor provides a spacious, comfortable workspace.
Creative applications use many panels and windows that rarely fit comfortably on a conventional display.
With an ultrawide monitor, one display can be enough.

I have worked on an ultrawide monitor for five years because of this space.
Because the desktop extends so far horizontally, I place an iPad below the monitor for videos and reference material.
The devices mentioned above also let me switch the mouse and keyboard to the iPad instantly and type, which is extremely convenient.
My monitor is five years old, and I am somewhat dissatisfied with its color reproduction and 2560×1080 resolution.
The model shown here is the one I would choose as a replacement.
This model provides a 3440×1440 resolution and approximately 1.07 billion colors
My current monitor: 34UM67-P
Resolution: 2560×1080
Display colors: 16.77 million
Writing this makes me want to upgrade…
Incidentally, The reason I do not choose a curved ultrawide is that designers may find it harder to judge whether an on-screen line is straight or curved. I therefore choose a flat ultrawide display.
